More Battery, Faster Charging
The VPRIME 2 has a 3400mAh built-in battery, giving it plenty of capacity for a pod kit capable of reaching up to 60W. How long a charge lasts will depend on the wattage and pod you're using, but the larger battery gives you more capacity to work with when vaping at higher power levels.
When it is time to recharge, the VPRIME 2 supports 5V/3A USB-C fast charging. This helps cut down the time spent waiting for the battery to recharge, which is particularly useful on a higher-powered device with a larger 3400mAh battery.
New Dual Mesh Pods
The VPRIME 2 comes with OXVA's new VPRIME Dual Mesh pods, with both a 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω pod included in the kit. Unlike a traditional single-mesh coil, the Dual Mesh design uses two mesh heating elements, helping to spread the workload across the coil as you vape.
These new pods also introduce OXVA's Unitech 3.0 technology to the VPRIME range. The updated pod design is focused on consistent flavour, vapour production and improved leak resistance, while retaining the convenient top-fill system used across the VPRIME pod range.
Both included pods are designed to make use of the VPRIME 2's higher-powered RDL and DTL capabilities, giving you two options depending on how warm and open you prefer your vape.
Power & Airflow Control
With an adjustable 5–60W output, the VPRIME 2 gives you plenty of room to tailor the power to the pod and vaping style you prefer. Wattage can be adjusted directly on the device, while Boost Mode provides another option when using the new VPRIME Dual Mesh pods.
You can also fine-tune the draw using the adjustable airflow control. Combined with the choice of VPRIME pods, this lets you move between tighter MTL draws and more open RDL or DTL vaping without needing to change devices.
The VPRIME 2 also uses a U-shaped airway within the pod, designed to guide airflow smoothly through the coil and towards the mouthpiece. Together, the adjustable power and airflow give you much more control over how the device vapes than a simpler fixed-output pod kit.
Clear Controls at a Glance
The VPRIME 2 features a 0.98-inch colour screen that keeps your key vaping information visible while you use the device, including your selected wattage, battery level, pod resistance and puff count.
You can choose between inhale activation or use the fire button to vape, depending on which you prefer. A physical lock switch also lets you lock the button when needed, helping to prevent accidental presses when the device is in your pocket or bag.
There are three interface themes and two vaping animations to choose from, giving you some control over how the display looks without changing how the device performs.
Compatible With the VPRIME Pod Range
As well as the new Dual Mesh pods included with the kit, the VPRIME 2 is compatible with the existing OXVA VPRIME pod range. This gives you more choice over the resistance and style of vape you use, while existing VPRIME users can continue using their compatible pods with the newer device.
The new 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω Dual Mesh pods also work with the VPRIME 2's Boost Mode. When Boost Mode is activated, OXVA states that the 0.4Ω Dual Mesh pod can deliver performance comparable to a 0.2Ω setup, while the 0.6Ω pod can perform more like a 0.3Ω setup.
The resistance of the pods themselves doesn't actually change; they remain 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω pods. Instead, Boost Mode changes how the VPRIME 2 powers the Dual Mesh coil, giving you the option of a more powerful vape without needing to swap to a different pod.
Which E-Liquid Should You Use With the VPRIME 2?
The OXVA VPRIME 2 can be used with both nic salt and freebase e-liquids, giving you plenty of choice depending on the pod, power level and type of vape you prefer.
Both the 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω Dual Mesh pods supplied with the kit are designed for the VPRIME 2's more powerful RDL and DTL vaping styles. Because these setups can produce considerably more vapour per puff than a lower-powered MTL pod kit, it's worth taking your nicotine strength into account when choosing an e-liquid.
The VPRIME 2 is also compatible with the wider VPRIME pod range, so your choice of e-liquid may change if you switch to a different resistance or vaping style.
