Which E-Liquid Should I Use with the VPRIME 2?
Your choice of e-liquid will depend on which VPRIME Dual Mesh pod you're using. The 0.4ohm pod is better suited to higher VG e-liquids, including shortfills, which work well with its more powerful DTL setup and higher vapour production.
With the 0.6ohm pod, we'd usually recommend a balanced 50VG/50PG e-liquid. This gives you plenty of choice between nic salts and freebase e-liquids, making the 0.6ohm pod a good option if you prefer an RDL vape but still want to use the types of e-liquid commonly paired with refillable pod kits.
Whichever pod you choose, make sure you match your nicotine strength to the amount you vape and the power you're using. Higher-powered setups generally work better with lower nicotine strengths, particularly when using the 0.4ohm pod.
A Bigger 3400mAh Battery
The VPRIME 2 has a built-in 3400mAh battery, a sizeable increase from the 2600mAh battery used in the original VPRIME. That's particularly useful on a kit capable of reaching 60W, where higher power settings will naturally use more battery throughout the day.
Charging has been upgraded too, moving from 5V/2A on the original VPRIME to 5V/3A USB-C charging. OXVA states that the VPRIME 2 can reach 50% charge in around 20 minutes, although charging times can vary depending on the charger being used.
More Control Over Your Vape
The VPRIME 2 gives you plenty of control over how it vapes without making the device overly complicated. Power can be adjusted between 5–60W, while the airflow slider lets you fine-tune the draw to suit the pod you're using and whether you prefer a more restricted RDL vape or a more open DTL inhale.
On the front of the device is a 0.98-inch colour screen, which keeps your main vaping information visible while you're using the kit. OXVA has included three interface themes and two vaping animations, so there are a few options for changing how the display looks too.
