The OXVA XLIM Go Lite is the latest addition to OXVA's ever-growing XLIM range, but this time the focus is firmly on keeping things simple. There’s no screen, menu system or manual wattage adjustment to worry about – just inhale activation, adjustable airflow and the familiar XLIM pod platform.
It might be called the Go Lite, but OXVA hasn't stripped everything back. There's a 1000mAh battery inside, an RGB light to keep an eye on your remaining charge and support for several XLIM pod resistances, giving you some choice over how the device vapes without adding extra controls.
With so many XLIM kits now available, though, where exactly does the Go Lite fit in? We’re taking a closer look at OXVA’s newest entry-level pod kit, what you get for its simpler approach and the type of vaper it's likely to make the most sense for.
Big Battery, Little Device
For a device weighing just 41.5g, OXVA has managed to fit a 1000mAh battery inside the XLIM Go Lite. That gives the device a decent amount of battery capacity without taking away from the lightweight, pocket-friendly design that the Go Lite is built around.
Rather than using a screen, the Go Lite keeps things simple with an RGB battery indicator. The light shows green when the battery is between 65–100%, blue at 30–65% and red once it drops below 30%, giving you a quick indication of when it's getting close to needing a charge. When it does, the device can be recharged through the USB-C port at 5V/1A.
One Device, Four Pod Options
One of the biggest advantages of the XLIM Go Lite is that it uses OXVA's existing XLIM Replacement Pods, giving you four different resistances to choose from. The XLIM Go Lite is also compatible with OXVA's XL 3ml XLIM Replacement Pods which give you more refilling room. The kit comes with a 2ml 0.8Ω pod as standard, which provides a balanced MTL vape and is a good starting point if you're new to the XLIM range.
From there, you can change the way the Go Lite vapes simply by swapping the pod. The 1.2Ω pod provides the tightest MTL draw, while the 0.6Ω opens things up a little further. At the other end of the range, the 0.4Ω pod produces a warmer, airier RDL vape.
The Go Lite automatically adjusts its power output to suit the pod you've installed, so there's no wattage setting to change yourself. Combined with the airflow slider on the side of the device, this gives you a surprising amount of control over the draw for a pod kit that's otherwise designed to keep things simple.

What Is Unitech 2.0?
The XLIM Go Lite uses OXVA's Unitech 2.0 technology, which is built into the latest XLIM Top Fill pods. Rather than being a separate setting or mode you need to switch on, it's part of the pod and coil design, with OXVA using it to improve flavour consistency and extend the usable life of the pod.
For the Go Lite, the important part is that you don't need to do anything differently to use it. Fill the pod, leave the coil a few minutes to saturate if it's new, and the device takes care of the power automatically. It fits with what OXVA seems to be trying to achieve with the Go Lite: the benefits of the wider XLIM pod system without adding more controls for the user to manage.
What E-Liquid Should You Use?
The best e-liquid for the OXVA XLIM Go Lite will depend partly on which pod you choose. With the 0.8Ω pod supplied in the kit, we'd recommend sticking with a 50/50 e-liquid. These have a balanced VG/PG ratio that works well with lower-powered pod kits and gives you plenty of choice between nic salts and traditional freebase nicotine.
If you're using the 1.2Ω pod for a tighter MTL vape, 50/50 e-liquids remain a good choice. Moving down to the lower-resistance 0.6Ω or 0.4Ω pods gives you a more open vape, although you'll still want to pay attention to the e-liquid recommendations for the pod you're using rather than assuming any thicker high-VG liquid will be suitable.
