The LUXE X Dual Mesh XL pods feature two mesh heating structures within each built-in coil, designed to distribute heat more evenly across the cotton. This helps the e-liquid heat consistently, supporting reliable flavour and vapour production throughout the pod's lifespan.
Vaporesso's dual mesh technology is also designed to improve coil longevity and reduce flavour deterioration over time. Rather than replacing individual coils, you simply replace the complete pod when you notice a persistent burnt taste or a noticeable drop in flavour.
Which E-Liquid Should I Use With LUXE X Dual Mesh Pods?
Choosing the right e-liquid depends on which LUXE X Dual Mesh pod you're using and your preferred vaping style. Both resistances can accommodate different e-liquids, but their power requirements and vapour production make them better suited to different setups.
The 0.6ohm Dual Mesh pod is a good option for 50/50 nic salt e-liquids when used at a suitable lower wattage. It provides a more restricted MTL or RDL draw, making it a practical choice for those who prefer nic salts over traditional freebase e-liquids. Higher nicotine strengths, such as 10mg and 20mg, are generally better suited to lower-power settings that produce less vapour per puff.
The 0.4ohm Dual Mesh pod is more suited to RDL vaping, producing a warmer inhale and greater vapour production. It works well with compatible higher-VG e-liquids, including shortfills, particularly when using lower nicotine strengths. Lower-strength nic salts may also be suitable, depending on your device's settings and the manufacturer's recommendations.
Whichever resistance you choose, always check the recommended wattage and e-liquid ratio for your device and pod before filling.
Refilling & Replacing Your LUXE X Dual Mesh Pods
The Vaporesso LUXE X Dual Mesh XL pods feature a top-filling design, making it straightforward to top up your e-liquid. With the coil built directly into each cartridge, there's no need to remove or replace separate coils.
- Remove the pod's mouthpiece to access the filling port.
- Insert your e-liquid bottle nozzle into the filling port and carefully fill the pod, avoiding the middle airflow channel.
- Reattach the mouthpiece securely before using the device.
- When filling a new pod for the first time, allow approximately 5–10 minutes for the e-liquid to saturate the coil.
- Keep an eye on your e-liquid level and refill before the pod runs dry.
Over time, the built-in coil will naturally wear out. If you notice a persistent burnt taste, reduced flavour or declining vapour production, it's usually time to replace the complete pod with a new one.
